Most treks are at high altitude so previous experience, good physical condition, well plan acclimatization is require. Porters or Yaks will carry most of your gear so you will have only a day pack with some warm clothes, water and food.
The lodges are comfortable and each year becoming a little fancier. it is common to find lodge with showers and warm dining room, however due to altitude proper gear is nessecary, down jacket and a warm sleeping bag.
If the trek is not on a well travel route the camp install always have individual tent, dining and cooking tent, outhouse. very cozy camping.
