Always an enjoyable time climbing in Colorado and the guide’s ridge of Mont Crested butte offer a great opportunity to practice alpine techniques in a beautiful setting. The climb itself is not too long and the approach is done hiking up the ski slopes of Mt Crested Butte. There is plenty of wild life to observe. OK ! today is August 25th and tomorrow i will be meeting Jim and hike to Capltol peak camp site and hopefully climb capitol via the knife edge ridge monday.
