The Royal Crown – 12 peaks in 7 days

The Royal Crown traverse. Above Zermatt – Switzerland

This is a high altitude traverse covering 12 peaks in 7 days.  We’ll be staying in huts,  allowing us to carry smaller packs and travel at a faster pace.  The highest hut will be Marguarita Hut at 4,554 meters.  It is located on top of the Signalkuppe Peak and has spectacular panoramic views of the Alps. there is few options base on your skills and experience. the most difficult route that follow the ridge line, team ratio of 2:1 maximum. the second option follow the easier, lower  line. still reaching most summit. The ratio for that option is 3:1
