Ski touring and sailing with stunning views and midnight sun aboard the beautiful two masted Goxheim or Fleur de Lampaul. The boats provides a great mobile base which enable us to approach our objectives from the sea, so that we can ski tour really remote places. Skippers and crew ensure a relaxed and friendly organization for an unforgettable week
Long hours of daylight and little difference in day and night temperatures, give great flexibility in organizing the day program and choosing tours. Snow conditions change significantly less during the day compare to the Alps. All tours are starting from sea level so no altitude and acclimatization problems. summits are between 900 meters and 1,200 meters, sometimes there will be opportunity for traverses where crew will sail the boat around the island, fjords and pick the skiers where they come down.
the scenery, the wildlife and the very special light and colors of the North are an endless inspiration for photography and filming or just to enjoy.
Life on board is easy going. No early start necessary……Excellent food cooked by the cook using local produce, and always lots of it! After skiing time for relaxation, drinks, photos, chats and more striking views. Inside a comfortable lounge and dining area, cozy two persons cabins, toilet and shower and on deck plenty of “hang out” space make it a very pleasant stay on board.
