Beginning of January: Ecuador
I meet the Roberts family coming back from the Galapagos Islands for a tour in the great Andes. After two peaks for the
acclimatization we climbed Cotopaxi and Chimborazo with a rest in between in Banos.
The entire team on top of Cotopaxi: Linda, Graham, Evan and Gareth Roberts.
February: Colorado.
I spent most of february coaching Francesca my daughter.
Training for the US extreme Alpine and Telemark. And....... the result !!!!!
Francesca won the Junior US extreme alpine competition, finish second in the US Telemark extreme.
Won the slalom, GS and overall title in the Telemark National in Steamboat.
March: La Grave Freeriding, steep and deep ski week
Skiing with the team, Hasty, David, Tommy and Dave.
Just amazing !!!!!!! long runs (6,ooo ft vertical per run). great snow, blue sky, sunny day, snow at night,
What can i say ?? This is the best lift access off piste skiing
The great run toward ST.Christophe, thousand feet of powder.
A Must !!!
March - April: Zermatt
I join Michael and Stefan for a week of skiing and touring around Zermatt. We mix great carving, off piste skiing and touring
climbing, the Breithorn, Cima Di Jazzi and Monte Rosa.
Cima Di Jazzi, Breithorn, Monte Rosa, Rothorn, Stockhorn.
Cervinia, Sunegga, Klein Matterhorn.
Endless possibility for ski touring, off piste skiing, carving

As always the Bella Tola, Turtman, Tracuit ski tour offer an unforgeable adventure with many peak ascents and ski descents
still the secret stash. comfortable huts, fewer skiers, great nature.

A bit more skiing: In early March i had the great opportunity to work for the American mountain guide Association testing
young candidates during a ski mountaineering guide exam in the North Cascade. Early May I will be in Alaska teaching a
ski mountaineering course, and then it will be the end of the 2006/2007 ski season.
