The Matterhorn ascent is one of the great alpine climbs of the world. It offers a combination of scrambling, rock climbing,
snow and ice climbing. It is climbed in one day from the hut and takes between 8 to 12 hours. Going down is by far the
most strenuous part.

Climb the Matterhorn - Itinerary:          5 day tour                        7 day tour
Alpine start between 3:30 am to 4:30 am depending
on the time of the season. We will climb to the third
tower in the dark.
The section below Solvay hut is moslty rock with few short
picthes
Reaching Solway hut

the section right below and above
the hut is slightly more technical,
especially
if  you are require to keep your
crampons due to verglas
The shoulder is usually cover with snow . the fix rope are just above the
shoulder

Along the fix ropes.
This section is steep
and good climbing
techniques is
required.
