small town, the ambiance; low key, friendly, relax. Of course the skiing is so demanding that everyone is relax at
the end of the day. But there is more. The one lift give access to the best terrain not only for expert skiers but it is
serious terrain. Every morning you set of with your skis, harness, tranceiver and helmet all mandatory and each run

Between Grenoble and Briancon we will find half dozen ski resorts. One of then La Grave is consider the Mecca of
Free Riding. From the top of the Resort it is a over 7,000 ft vertical feet to skidown and reach the town of la Grave.
The La Meije Glaciers Aerial Tramway (Téléphérique) provides the sole access to this high altitude glacial terrain,
and carries passengers to the Ruillans Pass at 3200 meters in 30 minutes. The Trifides and Dome de la Lauze
drag lifts then take you up to 3550 meters. Here you discover the only two marked trails, along with an access to
the Deux Alpes ski resort.

The 6 valleys of Oisans: Alpes D’Huez
The ski area of the Grandes Rousses, which is connected to the villages/resorts of Auris, Oz en Oisans , Villard
Reculas, Vaujany and La Garde, covers a total surface of 10 000 hectars, which represents 220 km of alpine ski
runs, 54 km of cross-country trails ans 30 km of ramble tracks.
At 3330m of altitude, on the Grandes Rousses Massif, Pic Blanc offers a unique view over the great summits of
the Alps : the Mont Blanc, Mont Cervin and the Meije.
Crossroads of the 6 valleys of the Romanche, Sarenne, Ferrand, L'Eau d'Olle, Lignarre and Vénéon, Alpe d'Huez

About Serre Chevalier
Skiers and snowboarders call it Grand Serre Ché – and yes – it is the second largest ski area in the world.
The extensive ski area and the excellent weather record of Serre Chevalier offers an excellent holiday for all types
of skier and boarder.
We have got a fantastic snow record, combined with more than 300 days of sunshine every year.
Serre Chevalier has spectacular mountain scenery and beautiful runs through France's biggest larch forest.
The resort is located in Hautes Alpes which is the most southern area in the alps with real high mountains. It is
actually the area in the french alps where you find most mountain peaks more than 4.000 meters.
Serre Chevalier comprises a collection of over a dozen beautiful villages all linked into the local ski area.

BACKCOUNTRY SKIING:
There is plenty of possibilities: touring from the lifts, day tours, overnight tours.
Like in the rest of the Alps you will find mountain huts giving access to high peaks and traverse.
During this tour we will concentrate on skiing, skiing fall line runs, skiing the longest run available. We will ski tour
from the lifts to access the secret stashes.
Of course if you wish ,we can always find a great tour, day tour or overnight.
OUR BASE CAMP:
Hotel Castillan in the center of la Grave just 100 meters from the lift.
Each day we can decide were to ski base on condition and how we feel. from the top of the lift we can cross over
in 20 minutes to les 2 alpes.
A short drive down valley and up to the base brings us to Alpes d’Huez. Another short drive but over the pass (col
du Lautaret) Brings us to Serre Chevalier.
ACCESS:
From Lyon or Geneva airport via Grenoble, Le Bourg D’Oisans.
La Grave is Located 90 km from Grenoble or 1,5 hours away.
